  1. 1/2lb Fresh mushrooms,

  2. 1 c Shredded Monterey Jack

  3. 1 c Cottage cheese

  4. 1/2c Fine dry bread crumbs

  5. 1/4ts Cayenne pepper

  6. 1/4ts Salt

  7. 3 Eggs, slightly beaten

  8. 1/2c Chopped green onions

  9. 2 tb Butter

  10. Coarsely chopped Cheese

  1. + Melt butter in skillet,add mushrooms and saute until golden,about 10 minutes.

  2. Stir in bread crumbs,then pat into a 9" pie pan or divide among eight 4" tart pans.

  3. Combine cheeses and remaining ingredients;spoon into prepared crust.

  4. Bake @ 350 degrees 35 to 45 minutes,until puffy and golden.

  5. Cool about 10 minutes before serving.

  6. Makes one 9" pie.
