  1. 1 tablespoon olive oil

  2. 2 tablespoons tomato paste

  3. 2 teaspoons ground turmeric

  4. 1 pound beef stew meat , cut into cubes

  5. 1 can (14 fluid ounces) coconut milk

  6. 1 cup water

  7. 2 MAGGI Chicken Flavor Bouillon Cubes

  8. 1 cup frozen peas

  9. 1 cup frozen corn

  10. 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil

  11. 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar

  12. 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel

  13. 1/2 teaspoon fish sauce

  1. HEAT oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add tomato paste and turmeric; stir for 1 minute. Add beef; cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 7 minutes or until browned.

  2. ADD coconut milk, water and bouillon. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 25 to 30 minutes. Stir in peas, corn, basil, sugar, lemon peel and fish sauce. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened.

  3. SERVE with cooked rice.
