  1. whole graham crackers

  2. 4 ounces butter or margarine

  3. 1 egg, beaten

  4. 1 cup granulated sugar

  5. 1/2 cup milk

  6. 1 cup flaked coconut

  7. 1 cup chopped nuts

  8. 1 cup graham cracker crumbs

  9. Topping

  10. 1/4 cup melted butter or margarine

  11. 2 cups powdered sugar

  12. 1 tbsp. milk (use more if needed)

  13. 1 tsp. vanilla

  1. Line a 9 x 13 inch pan with whole graham crackers. In saucepanmelt 1 stick (4 ounces) butter. In a bowl, whisk together the egg, sugar, and 1/2 cup milk milk; add to melted butter.

  2. Bring to a full boil and boil 1 minute. Stir in coconut, nuts, and graham cracker crumbs; spoon over whole graham crackersand top with a layer of whole graham crackers. Mix topping ingredients together until smooth and spreading consistency; spread overtop of graham crackers. Let cool and cut into squares.

  3. Makes about 24.
