  1. 1 pound ground beef

  2. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  3. 1 cup sliced celery

  4. 1/4 cup finely chopped onions

  5. 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper

  6. 1 teaspoon salt

  7. 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper pepper

  8. 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

  9. 1 small clove garlic, finely minced

  10. 1 can condensed tomato soup

  1. In a large skillet, brown ground beef hot oil. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 10 minutes. Drop parsley biscuit topping (below) over hot mixture in skillet. Bake in a 425 oven for 20 minutes. Carefully turn casserole out onto a large platter. Cut in wedges and serve immediately.

  3. Parsley Biscuit Topping:

  4. cups sifted all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 3 tablespoons cold shortening 3 tablespoons cold butter 1/4 cup minced fresh parsley 1 cup milk Sift dry ingredients into bowl. With fingers, a pastry blender, or forks, in the shortening and butter. Stir in parsley and milk, only until flour is moistened. Drop onto hot ground beef mixture and bake as directed above.
