  2. 2 lbs 908g / 32oz Hamburger

  3. 1 Egg

  4. 1 Nutmeg

  5. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Black pepper

  6. 1/2 cup 118ml Mushroom soup - concentrate, canned

  7. 1/2 cup 31g / 1.1oz Onion - chopped

  8. 1/2 cup 73g / 2.6oz Bread crumbs

  9. 1/3 cup 78ml Marinara sauce -

  10. Pizza sauce)

  11. 2 Garlic cloves - minced

  12. 2 teaspoons 10ml Seasoned salt -

  13. Cayenne and - celery seed)

  14. Sauce

  15. 8 oz 227g Canned mushroom soup - concentrate

  16. The can)

  17. 3 oz 85g Mushrooms - sliced

  18. 1/2 cup 118ml Sour cream

  19. 1/4 cup 59ml Drippings - (from, baking the loaf)

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Mix all ingredients together well, shape into loaf and put into a pan. If you use a roasting rack instead of a bread pan, the loaf will be less greasy and you can use some of the drippings to make the sauce. Bake 20 minutes uncovered at 425 degrees F. Turn down the oven to 375 degrees F. and continue baking, uncovered, for 55 more minutes.

  2. MAKE THE SAUCE: Fry the mushrooms in the drippings and then combine the drippings and mushrooms with the mushroom soup and sour cream. Heat this mixture in a sauce pan. When meatloaf is done, put on a plate, cover with sauce, slice and eat.

  4. * A quick and flavorful meat loaf -- This is my own adaptation of a recipe I got many years ago from a Campbell's soup cookbook. It usually gets rave reviews from guests. Yield: serves 4-6.
