  2. 1 pound ground beef

  3. 1/2 cup salad dressing

  4. 1/2 cup taco sauce

  5. 1 cup sharp natural cheddar cheese -- (4 oz.)

  6. 1/4 cup onions -- chopped

  7. corn chips

  1. Preparation:

  2. Crumble and brown beef; drain well. Add combined salad dressing and taco sauce; mix well. Stir in 3/4 cup cheese and onions. Spoon mixture into 9-inch pie plate. Top with remaining cheese and insert chips around edge of pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

  3. Serve with additional corn chips or crackers. Makes 4 1/2 cups. My family prefers the onions sauteed with the beef rather than raw.
