  1. 1/3 cup all-purpose flour

  2. 1 teaspoon salt

  3. 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  4. 1 boneless beef rump or chuck roast (3 pounds)

  5. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  6. 1-1/2 cups beef broth

  7. 1/2 cup chutney

  8. 1/2 cup raisins

  9. 1/2 cup chopped onion

  10. 1-1/2 teaspoons curry powder

  11. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  12. 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

  1. Spiced Pot Roast Recipe photo by Taste of Home Combine flour, salt and pepper; rub over entire roast. In a Dutch oven, brown roast in oil on all sides. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over roast.

  2. Cover and bake at 325° for 3 hours or until meat is tender. Thicken gravy if desired. Yield: 6-8 servings.
