  1. 1 (900g to 1 1/35kg) whole chicken, skin removed, deboned and diced

  2. 900g boneless pork loin, cubed

  3. 1 1/35kg diced beef stewing steak

  4. 4 tablespoons vegetable oil

  5. 450g chopped onions

  6. 1 green pepper, diced

  7. 1 bunch celery, diced

  8. 1 large swede, diced

  9. 1 1/35kg carrots, diced

  10. 900g cabbage, diced

  11. 900g fresh green beans, chopped

  12. 2 1/4kg potatoes, peeled and cubed

  13. 450g frozen peas

  14. 2 1/2 (340g) tins sweetcorn

  15. 2 (400g) tins chopped tomatoes

  16. salt to taste

  17. ground black pepper to taste

  1. In a large stock pot over medium heat, cook chicken, pork and beef in oil, until brown. Drain well.

  2. Stir in onion, pepper, celery, swede, carrots, cabbage, green beans, potatoes, sweetcorn, tomatoes, salt and pepper and simmer over medium-low heat all day long, adding water as needed, until thickened.
