  1. 4 cups of milk (full fat)

  2. 1 cup rice (soaked in warm water for 2 hours)

  3. Sugar (as per taste)

  4. 10-12 cashew nuts (chopped)

  5. Spices:

  6. 2 cardamoms

  7. tsp saffron

  1. Use heavy bottom pot so that milk and rice do not stick to the pot

  2. Put full fat milk in the pot

  3. Add splited green cardamom in milk

  4. Put saffron in it

  5. When the milk come to boiled add water soaked rice in it and turn to low flame

  6. Let the rice cook with the milk for 30 minutes

  7. Keep stirring in the bottom

  8. Rice pudding is almost ready

  9. Add 3 tsp of sugar (up to your taste)

  10. Put chopped cashew on it and mix well

  11. Serve hot or cold
