  5. 1 cup uncooked white rice

  6. 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth

  7. 1 medium garlic clove -- minced

  8. 1 dash hot pepper sauce

  9. fresh ground pepper

  10. 12 ounces precooked jumbo shrimp

  1. Place all the ingredients except the shrimp in a large stockpot and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover, and let simmer for 25 to 30 minutes. Add the shrimp, cover, and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes or until shrimp is thoroughly heated. Serve hot.
