  1. 1 can chili without beans (Hormel is my favorite)

  2. 1 can black beans , drained

  3. 8 oz colby-Jack cheese , grated or crumbled

  4. 2-4 oz sour cream

  5. ground cayenne pepper to taste

  6. sprinkle of chives

  1. Mix chili, beans, cheese and pepper in a 9x9 deep casserole dish.

  2. Place in microwave oven and heat on high until cheese is thoroughly melted and mix is creamy smooth (usually 3-3½ minutes), stirring often.

  3. Top with sour cream and chives. Serve hot with tortilla chips.
