  1. 125g pork mince

  2. cup bean sprouts

  3. 1 cup cabbage, finely chopped

  4. 2 green onions, finely chopped

  5. 1 tablespoon cornflour

  6. 1 tablespoon (20ml) soy sauce

  7. 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  8. 12 spring roll wrappers

  9. Oil for deep frying

  10. Plum or soy sauce, for dipping

  1. Combine pork, sprouts, cabbage, green onions, cornflour, soy sauce and sesame oil in a bowl and mix well.

  2. Place one tablespoon of the mixture on a corner of each spring roll wrapper. Roll up wrapper diagonally into a long parcel, tucking in edges, and seal firmly by lightly brushing with water.

  3. Heat oil for deep frying to a high temperature. Deep fry rolls in hot oil for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Drain rolls on paper towels. Serve hot with plum or soy sauce for dipping.
