  1. basmati rice 3 cups (6 cups of water)

  2. (chopped) onions 1/4 cup

  3. green chilies 3

  4. (chopped) carrots 1/4 cup

  5. green peas 1tbsp (few)

  6. potato (chopped) 1 (small)

  7. mint leaves (few)

  8. ginger paste 1/2tbsp

  9. garlic paste 1/2tbsp

  10. (chopped) cilantro 2tbsp

  11. cumin seeds 1/8tsp (few)

  12. (black) cumin seeds 1/4tbsp

  13. cloves 4

  14. cinnamon (stick) 1 (big size)

  15. cardamom

  16. bay leaves 4 (small)

  17. salt as per taste

  18. olive oil 3tbsp (to 5)

  1. first wash the basmati rice and then soak the rice in water with salt

  2. now cut the vegetables and wash them and keep them aside

  3. heating up oil in a pan

  4. add cumin seeds when the oil is hot enough

  5. when the cumin seeds start splutter add the chopped onions

  6. saute for 1 minute

  7. now add cinnamon, cardamom, bay leaves and cloves

  8. mix well and saute them for a minute

  9. add the ginger and garlic paste now

  10. saute till the raw flavor of garlic goes away

  11. now add the all the vegetables in the mixture and mix them well

  12. saute them till the vegetables get half cooked

  13. add mint leaves and cilantro and cover the pan

  14. cook the mixture for 1 minute

  15. bagara curry is ready

  16. now add the cooked curry with the soaked rice and mix it thoroughly

  17. close the vessel and cook like normal rice

  18. cook for about 20 minutes

  19. bagara pulao is ready to be served
