Banana Tidbit Bread

    1. 1/2 c. butter

    2. 2 eggs

    3. 2 c. flour

    4. 1/4 c. chopped walnuts or nutmeats

    5. 1/4 c. chopped maraschino cherries

    6. 8 oz. cherry juice or water

    7. 1 c. sugar

    8. 3 mashed bananas

    9. 1 tsp. soda

    10. 1/4 c. tidbits or chips, chocolate chips

    1. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and mashed bananas. Then add flour, soda, nutmeats, tidbits, cherries and juice. Put into greased and floured loaf pans, or round coffee or vegetable cans. Bake at 350 degrees oven for 1 hour. Makes delicious breads for gift giving.
