  1. 1/4 cup oil

  2. 1 medium onion ,sliced

  3. 500 g minced meat

  4. 1 tsp ginger paste

  5. 1 tsp garlic paste

  6. 2 large tomatoes ,chopped

  7. 1 tsp cumin seeds

  8. 2-3 black peppercorns

  9. 4-5 cloves

  10. 1 large cardamom

  11. 1 inch piece cinnamon stick

  12. 1 tbsp crushed red chillies

  13. 1 tbsp crushed coriander

  14. 3 red chilli pods

  15. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

  16. 1/2 tbsp salt

  17. 2 green chillies,finely chopped

  18. 2 tbsp coriander leaves

  1. Heat oil in a heavy based saucepan, add onion and stirring frequently fry until it is light brown about 5-8 minutes.

  2. Add minced meat, garlic and ginger paste. While stirring, fry the minced meat for about 5 minutes or until it turns brown.

  3. Now add all ingredients except green chillies and fresh coriander. Cook over medium heat for 20- 25 minutes.

  4. Then stirring frequently fry until all the moisture has evaporated and the oil separates.

  5. Garnish with green chilies and chopped coriander leaves.

  6. Serve with Nan/Chapati.
