  2. 2 tablespoons water

  3. 1 lb confectioners sugar

  4. 1 tablespoon butter; softened

  5. 1 tablespoon light corn syrup

  6. 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut

  7. 1 pint cream of tartar

  8. teaspoons almond extract

  9. 1 teaspoon vanilla

  10. teaspoons salt

  11. Chocolate Coating:

  12. 8 squares semi-sweet chocolate

  1. Combine sugar, water, corn syrup, butter and vanilla. Add the salt, almond extract and cream of tartar. This mixture will be crumbly. Add the coconut.

  2. Shape into eggs. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over low heat. Cool a little and then frost the easter eggs.
