  1. 1 lb lean ground turkey

  2. 2 teaspoons garlic powder

  3. 1 1/2 teaspoons fennel seeds , crushed

  4. 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar

  5. 1 teaspoon salt

  6. 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  7. 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  1. Combine all ingredients until well mixed.

  2. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

  3. Shape into 8 patties.

  4. Cook in a skillet coated with nonstick spray about 3 minutes each side, meat thermometer should read 165 degrees.

  5. You can also crumble the turkey into the skillet for crumbled sausage.
