  1. 1 tablespoon butter

  2. 1/2 cup onion, chopped

  3. 1/2 pound ground beef or Italian sausage

  4. 2 (10 1/2-ounce) cans pizza sauce

  5. 1 1/2 teaspoons fennel seed, crushed

  6. 1 1/2 teaspoons leaf oregano

  7. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  8. 2 1/2 cups (10 ounces) Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese, shredded

  9. 1 cup (4 ounces) Wisconsin Mozzarella Cheese, shredded

  10. Italian or French bread cut in pieces for accompaniment

  1. Heat butter in a 2-quart heavy saucepan over high heat. Brown onion and ground beef or sausage, drain excess grease. Transfer cooked meat/onion mixture to a 2-quart fondue pot, Add pizza sauce and spices to fondue pot; stir well until the mixture bubbles.

  2. Add cheeses by handfuls, stirring well after each addition until smooth.

  3. Serve with Italian or French bread cut in pieces.
