  1. 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp , peeled

  2. 2 Tbsp chopped garlic (or less, but that is my preference)

  3. 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger - I like the stuff that comes in the tube in the produce section

  4. 1 jalapeno pepper , seeded and minced

  5. 1/2 cup green onions chopped

  6. 1/4 - 1/2 cup Thai peanut sauce

  7. 1/4 cup dry whole wheat bread crumbs - you may need to add a little more

  1. Put shrimp in the food proccessor - if you do it in batches, it is easy. Pulse until you have a paste (yes, it looks weird!)

  2. Add the rest of the ingredients, playing w/ the peanut sauce and bread crumbs to make patties.

  3. Put these in the fridge for 20 minutes or longer - this will help them stay together on the grill.

  4. Fire up your grill.

  5. Spray the grill and cook for 3 1/2 to 4 minutes on each side or until done Serve this on a bun w/ some spicy slaw or eat this alone w/ a little extra peanut sauce.
