  1. 1 1/2 tablespoons dark soy sauce

  2. 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup

  3. 2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses

  4. 1 tablespoon sunflower oil

  5. 2 tablespoon agave syrup, honey or golden syrup

  6. 1 teaspoon mustard

  7. 1 tablespoon garlic clove, chopped finely and crushed

  8. 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

  9. 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper

  10. 1/4 teaspoon paprika

  11. 8 chicken drumsticks

  1. Prepare all the barbecue sauce ingredients and mix together thoroughly.

  2. Pour the pomegranate barbecue sauce over the chicken drumsticks and leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.

  3. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4.

  4. Bake the marinated chicken drumsticks for about 30 minutes in the oven, until crisp and cooked right through. Enjoy immediately with potatoes and vegetables or a salad.
