  1. 2 1/2 pounds potatoes, peeled, quartered and cooked

  2. 1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened

  3. 2/3 cup sour cream

  4. 1/4 cup butter, softened

  5. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste Paprika for sprinkling

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 1 1/2 quart baking dish; set aside.

  2. In a large bowl, mash the potatoes. Add the cream cheese, sour cream, butter, garlic powder, salt and pepper; beat until smooth. Spoon into prepared baking dish and sprinkle with paprika.

  3. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until heated through.
