  3. 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell

  4. 1 pound sweet potatoes, baked and peeled

  5. 2 large eggs, beaten

  6. 1 cup granulated sugar

  7. 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

  8. 2 tablespoons flour

  9. 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons milk

  10. 9 tablespoons margarine or butter, melted

  11. 3 tablespoons white corn syrup

  12. 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

  13. 2 to 3 minutes.

  14. Combine sugar, nutmeg and flour. Stir to blend. Add to sweet potato mixture.

  15. Mix until well-blended. Add milk and stir to blend.

  16. 375 degree F oven for about 45 minutes, or until set.

  26. Morrison's Cafeteria Sweet Potato Pie

  27. 2008-08-28 Working for Morrison's for years as one of there Bakers. I can assure you this is not the recipe for Sweet potato Pie. It is very close. First they boiled the potato in it's shell then cooled it down and peeled it. We then allowed it to drain again. They also used only egg yolks not the whole egg and powdered milk was used not whole milk. Also never would they use warm sweet potato always cold. Warm products could sour the mix and make people sick. We also used
