  1. 2 lbs floury potatoes

  2. salt and pepper

  3. 2 large onions

  4. 1 ounce beef drippings

  5. 2 lbs minced beef

  6. 3 teaspoons flour

  7. 1/2 pint strong beef stock

  8. 1 (14 ounce) can chopped tomatoes

  9. 8 ounces frozen vegetables (green beans are nice)

  10. 1/4 pint milk

  11. 2 ounces butter

  1. Cook potatoes in boiling salted water.

  2. Preheat oven to 375* Thinly slice onions.

  3. Heat dripping in a fry pan and fry onions until transparent.

  4. Add beef and fry until browned.

  5. Sprinkle in the flour and cook, stirring for 1 minute.

  6. Slowly add stock and bring to a boil stirring constantly.

  7. Add tomatoes with juice, s& p and frozen veg.

  8. Simmer for 5 min.

  9. Spoon cooked mixture into a casserole dish and spread on the mashed spuds.

  10. Bake for 30 min.
