  1. 1 lb Ground chuck

  2. 1 Med onion, chopped

  3. 1/2 md Green pepper

  4. 16 cn Tomato sauce

  5. 16 cn Tomatos, drained and Smooshed

  6. 4 cl Garlic

  7. 1 md Onion, chopped (again)

  8. 1 Bay leaf

  9. Lots oregano, basil, Marjoram

  10. Dashes Worcestershire

  11. Dash tobasco or cayenne

  12. Splash red wine

  13. Lots parmesan

  14. 8 oz Mushrooms, halved & sauteed

  15. 4 oz Macaroni, cooked al dente

  16. 6 Slices American cheese

  17. Sprinkles chives

  2. Add everything but last 3 ingredients.

  3. Simmer to blend flavors for 1/2 hour.

  4. Add macaroni to pot and stir.

  5. Spoon into greased 1-1/2 quart casserole.

  6. Top with cheese.

  7. Bake at 375 until cheese is bubbly, about 10-15 mins.

  8. Sprinkle with chives and serve with garlic bread.
