  1. Paneer - 250 gms (crumbled like bread crumbs).

  2. Onions - 2 (chopped finely)

  3. Garlic - 1/2 tsp (crushed)

  4. Ginger - 1/2 tsp (grated)

  5. Green Chillies - 2 (slit lengthwise)

  6. Tomato - 1 (chopped finely)

  7. Cashews - 5

  8. Capsicum - 1 (slit into long thine strips)

  9. Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp

  10. Black Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp

  11. Turmeric - 1/2 tsp

  12. Sugar - 1/2 tsp

  13. Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp

  14. Salt - to taste

  15. Lemon Juice - 1 tsp

  16. Ghee - 2 tbsp

  17. Butter - 1/2 tbsp

  18. Milk - 3 tbsp

  1. Introduction to Paneer Dishes Heat ghee in a heavy saucepan. Fry the cashews, to a golden brown. Drain, keep aside.

  2. Fry green chillies. Drain, keep aside.

  3. Fry the capsicum till tender. Drain, keep aside.

  4. Now add ginger, garlic to the ghee and fry for 2-3 seconds.

  5. Add onions and fry till pink.

  6. Add tomatoes and fry further till mushy.

  7. Add all the masala and milk and cook for 3-4 minutes.

  8. Add butter, lemon juice, sugar and paneer. Mix well.

  9. Take in a serving dish.

  10. Garnish with fried cashews, chillies and capsicums.

  11. Serve hot with naans, parathas, etc.
