  2. 1 cleaned pheasant

  3. 1tsp. salt

  4. 1 tsp. pepper

  5. 1/2 cup butter, softened

  6. 4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced

  7. 1 medium onion, peeled and chopped

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Season pheasant inside and out with salt and pepper. Rub 3/4 of butter over outside of pheasant. Add garlic, onion and remaining butter to pheasant cavity. Place pheasant in a cooking bag and seal. Place bag on a sheet pan and roast about 90 minutes until pheasant is cooked through.
