  1. 6 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce

  2. 4-1/2 teaspoons brown sugar

  3. 4-1/2 teaspoons olive oil

  4. 4 garlic cloves, minced

  5. 2 teaspoons ground cumin

  6. 2 teaspoons ground coriander

  7. 2 pounds beef top sirloin steak

  1. Photo by: Taste of Home In a small bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Pour a fourth of the marinade into a large resealable plastic bag; add steak. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade for basting.

  2. Drain and discard marinade from steak. Using long-handled tongs, moisten a paper towel with cooking oil and lightly coat the grill rack. Grill, covered, over medium-hot heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 5-6 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a meat thermometer should read 145°; medium, 160°; well-done, 170°), basting occasionally with reserved marinade. Yield: 6 servings.
