  3. 4 Garlic cloves, halved

  4. 1/4 Chopped onion

  5. 60 ml Olive oil

  6. 190 g Canned peeled tomatoes

  7. Sea salt

  8. Black pepper

  1. Boil the lentils for 5 minutes Empty the water and add 500ml of water Bring to the boil and allow to simmer for 10 minutes Add all the other ingredients and allow to cook on a low heat until all the ingredients are tender (takes about an hour or so) Serve when thick.
